Product Owner

Ludus is seeking a Product Owner to help drive our next phase of growth. This position is focused on translating customer feedback, internal needs, and business requirements into clear, actionable tasks for the engineering team. While this role is not currently responsible for shaping long-term product vision, it is critical to ensuring the short-term roadmap is delivered smoothly and accurately.
The ideal candidate is a fast-moving, product-savvy problem solver with a strong grasp of digital products and the ability to turn ideas into executable scope for design and development teams.
If you thrive on simplicity, speed, and iterative development we’d love to talk.
Join us in our mission to bring people together through shared experiences and building digital tools for arts organizations.
Things you should know before applying
At Ludus, our mission is to bring people together through shared experiences. It’s a big goal that allows for limitless expansion to make a difference in the world.
We get shit done, move fast, and are constantly learning and adapting. We embrace low process and high trust to navigate change and figure out what works.
We believe success is never final and when you think it is, that is when you fail. For us, success is a sum of small efforts, including trial and error, so we move at an unrelenting weekly pace.
In order to grow as a company and individually, discomfort is necessary so we can continue exploring new ideas and push ourselves to build quality tools to offer the best solutions for our customers.
If you prefer a hand-holding environment where everything is black and white, that’s not us. If you’re a self-starter and can thrive in controlled chaos, Ludus is the place for you — it’s time to find your role ⬇️
What you'll be doing

Lead Product Adoption: Partner with various departments to ensure features are understood, launched effectively, and adopted.
Maintain Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of Ludus, its customers, workflows, competitive landscape, and how changes affect the broader platform.
Identify Risks and Dependencies: Surface gaps, tradeoffs, blockers, and cross-product impacts early, along with a recommended path forward.
Operate Proactively: Keep stakeholders informed and raise concerns before someone has to ask for an update.
Partner with Design: Work closely with Product Design throughout discovery, prototyping, usability testing, and delivery, not just hand over requirements.
Use AI Effectively: Use AI to accelerate research, documentation, analysis, ideation, and day-to-day product work while applying judgment.
Comfort with Ambiguity: Can create clarity, make decisions, and move work forward without waiting for every detail to be provided.
Bias Toward Action: Moves quickly, avoids overengineering, and knows when there is enough information to proceed.
